Remote Online Notarization (“RON”) services are available worldwide, provided that:

  • The notarial act is performed by a U.S.-commissioned notary authorized to conduct RON;

  • The transaction complies with the laws of the commissioning state, applicable federal law, and platform requirements;

  • Identity verification, credential analysis, and recordkeeping requirements are satisfied in accordance with U.S. notary and RON statutes.

Regardless of the signer’s physical location, all RON transactions are governed by U.S. law, and personal information is processed and protected in accordance with applicable U.S. federal and state privacy, data protection, and notarial recordkeeping requirements.

We do not knowingly solicit services that would require compliance with non-U.S. privacy regimes unless expressly agreed to by contract.
